Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to bring structure to complexity in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Rostering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless rostering and workforce planning for a dynamic 24/7 airport security operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rostering for a 700-strong security team across multiple shifts and days
  • Ensuring optimal resource coverage using Kronos (UKG) and Microsoft Office
  • Managing day-to-day tasks, including sick leave calls, annual leave requests, and payroll coordination
  • Rostering in line with EA, contractual, KPI, and compliance requirements
  • Providing support and resolution to pay, leave, and roster queries
  • Coordinating and reconciling ad hoc service accounts
  • Maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional internal service
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-site or large-scale 24/7 rosters
  • Advanced skills in Kronos (UKG) and Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes
  • Working knowledge of and the ability to apply Award/Enterprise Agreement conditions when shift rostering
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Able to coach and mentor other Rostering Coordinators
  • Must be able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card – clean criminal history for the past 10 years)
