
Airport Workforce Planner

We are seeking a skilled Airport Workforce Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating the workforce to meet the operational needs of our airport security operation.
About the Position:
You will report directly to the General Manager - Aviation Security and be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks including sick leave calls, annual leave requests, pay period close and payroll coordination.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a 700-strong security team across multiple shifts and days in 24/7 operation
- Ensure optimal resource coverage using Kronos (UKG) and Microsoft Office
- Provide support and resolution to pay, leave, and roster queries
- Compile operational reports, including end-of-month data
- Coordinate and reconcile any ad hoc service accounts
- Maintain accurate records and deliver exceptional internal service
Key Requirements:
We are looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience with multi-site or large-scale 24/7 rosters
- Advanced skills in Kronos (UKG) and Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to prioritize workload and multitask to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Able to coach and mentor our Rostering Coordinators
- Must be able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card - clean criminal history for the past 10 years)
