Human Resources Generalist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This is a key role that will provide guidance on HR policies, employee matters, and workplace issues.

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial part in shaping the employee experience across our Retail and Support Centre teams. You will be responsible for managing employee relations cases, handling core HR processes like parental leave and abandonment of employment, and responding to queries through our HR inbox.

You will partner with managers to resolve people issues and support performance conversations, guide and support our People & Talent Coordinators, and help deliver onboarding and create a positive experience for new starters.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a HR Coordinator or Advisor role
  • Relevant degree or diploma in HR, Psychology, or Business
  • A strong understanding of employment law, including the Fair Work Act
  • Proven ability to manage ER cases and handle sensitive matters
