The Opportunity

We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team in Botany, NSW.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead, manage, and coordinate Operations Teams on our Unipol Process Plants ensuring that Quality, Cost, Production, Continuous Improvement, People Development, Customer Satisfaction, and work culture objectives are achieved.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leading, setting, communicating, and maintaining clear SHE requirements;
  • Driving a continuous improvement approach, networking with other sites to ensure best SHE practices are adopted and implemented;
  • Assisting the Polythene Operations Manager to form an Operational segment of the overall Qenos Annual Business Plan;
  • Managing and communicating Operational plans and objectives to Operations and Laboratory Teams;
  • Identifying appropriate Operational capabilities regarding staffing and necessary levels of collective skills, experience, and knowledge;
  • Promoting, managing, and maintaining effective training, reporting, procedures, and business improvement plans;
  • Supporting the Polythene Operations Manager in meeting production targets and optimizing production performance;
  • Ensuring the Operations Teams comply with all relevant standards and regulations.
About You

As a strong candidate for this role, you will possess sound judgement, straight talk, drive for excellence, and own the result. You should also have demonstrated capability to manage teams and people to achieve SH&E, Production, and Business requirements.

You will have effective communication skills to communicate between various stakeholders to convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Additionally, you will have motivation and drive to maintain and improve plant performance, high level of accountability for yourself and others to meet commitments, and sound judgement to adopt and implement the best possible practice with the highest level of safety and efficiency in mind.
