Your Role:
We are seeking an International Mobility Coordinator to become a vital part of our HR team in a fixed-term contract role. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the mobility of employees to the Australia and New Zealand region. Leveraging your extensive knowledge and expertise, you will manage the entire assignment process in collaboration with home and local HR teams, support HR in specific situations, and lead or participate in cross-functional projects within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing individual employee files from the identification stage through to their arrival in the host country.
- Providing data and cost estimates to managers and HR prior to expatriation.
- Organizing and participating in briefing sessions with employees, managers, and HR for both international permanent transfers and short/long-term missions.
- Presenting compensation packages and contracts to employees involved in international transfers, including hypothetical tax implications.
- Coordinating the registration of expatriates for local plans.
- Managing relocation, immigration, and tax processes in collaboration with external vendors and host HR.
- Drafting tri-party agreements for international permanent transfers.
- Offering guidance to managers and HR on international mobility matters.
- Collaborating with the Sourcing team to evaluate external suppliers for service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Overseeing external tax advisors to ensure timely receipt of payroll information.
- Working alongside Payroll and Finance to guarantee timely provision of information necessary for tax compliance.
- Monitoring visa expiration dates and quotas, ensuring that all systems and records are accurately maintained.
- Developing an expatriate guide to furnish new arrivals with essential information about Australia and New Zealand, the company, and local operations.
- Keeping abreast of local market conditions and suggesting enhancements to international mobility practices.
About You:
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist is preferred.
- Demonstrated expatriate management experience within a multinational organization.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage tactfully with individuals at various levels.
- People-oriented with the ability to navigate cultural differences.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of diverse teams.
- Highly motivated, dedicated, and a proactive team player.
- Willingness to accommodate different time zones for meetings.
