About the Role

Alstom is seeking an International Mobility Coordinator to join our HR team in a 12-month fixed contract role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing individual employee mobility to the Australia and New Zealand region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage individual files from identification to arrival in country
  • Provide data and cost estimation to managers and HR before expatriation
  • Organize briefing calls with employees, managers, and HR for international transfers
  • Present packages and contracts to international employees, including hypothetical taxes
  • Register expatriates for local plans
  • Coordinate relocation, immigration, and tax processes with external vendors
  • Prepare tri-party agreements for international transfers
  • Provide guidance on international mobility topics
  • Participate in reviewing external suppliers for service and value
  • Manage external tax advisors for payroll information
  • Work with Payroll and Finance for tax compliance
  • Monitor visa expiry dates and ensure system updates
  • Develop an expat guide for new arrivals
  • Monitor local market conditions and suggest improvements
About You
  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist is desired
  • Proven expatriate management experience in a multinational organization
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Sound influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • People-oriented and able to deal with cultural differences
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly dedicated and self-motivated
