Job Summary

Casual correctional officers play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our community.

As a casual correctional officer with the Department of Communities and Justice, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and security of prisoners while they are in custody.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct searches and ensure the security of facilities

Requirements

  • Hold a Certificate III in Correctional Practice or equivalent qualification
  • Be physically fit and able to perform tasks that require manual labor
