We currently have an opportunity for a **Security Administrator **to join our team. This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing Defence infrastructure and facilities.

This is a site based role in the Wagga Wagga region.

As a Security Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Security team ensure the project complies with all requirements of the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and supporting staff and contractors with their security clearance and access requirements.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Security Officer to ensure compliance with Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) requirements and maintain quality documentation.
- Provide direct support to operational staff and sub-contractors, ensuring security clearances and Defence Common Access Cards (DCAC) are obtained and maintained promptly.
- Support personnel security processes, including clearance requests, annual awareness training, and reporting of changes in circumstances or vulnerabilities.
- Safeguard sensitive and classified materials, maintain security registers, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures for security incidents.
- Support the Chief Security Officer with assurance activities, including security performance reporting and compliance audits.Communicate and implement security policies and plans, providing relevant updates and training through toolboxes and briefings.

**What you’ll bring**
- Hold or able to obtain a Government Security Clearance (Australian citizen) - must have
- Experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Demonstrate a high level of detail and accuracy of work
- Experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated accuracy in data entryPassionate about promoting a positive culture towards security
