Aged Care Nurse

At Alliance Nursing, we are seeking qualified Aged Care Registered Nurses to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents. As a Registered Nurse in Aged Care, you will be responsible for implementing the nursing care plan, delivering person-centred care, and supervising care workers and Enrolled Nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing the nursing care plan as assessed for each resident by the healthcare team and the resident/representative.
- Delivering person-centred care using the resident's care plan and the Person-Centred Care approach.
- Supervising, managing, and monitoring the standard of care delivered to residents, ensuring individualised and person-centred care.
- Providing high-level clinical competency and responding to changes in clinical need and deterioration.
- Committed to being part of a workplace culture dedicated to supporting good lives for older people.
- Ability to provide leadership and supervision to care workers and Enrolled Nurses.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge and skills in Contemporary Aged Care Services.
- Prior experience in a similar role within an Aged Care/Health Sector.
- Minimum 600 paid working hours in Australia based in Aged Care industry.
- Current unrestricted Registration with AHPRA.
- 2024 Flu Vaccination.
- Covid Vaccinated and have Booster Shot.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- NDIS Clearance.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Current Manual Handling Certificate.
- Medication Safety and Calculations.
- Must be available across all shift patterns: Day, Afternoon and Night Duty.
