Senior Citrix Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Citrix Engineer to join our dynamic support and projects team.


As a key member of the team, you will interact directly with customers and other members of the technical teams to deliver technology-based solutions.


Responsibilities include providing expert-level maintenance and support services for Citrix environments within contracted time frames and service level agreements.


Additional responsibilities include requirements gathering, project work on Citrix and NetScaler technologies, and sharing knowledge and expertise through coaching others in the team.


The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies.


Key skills and qualifications include:


  • Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration
  • Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration
  • User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow
  • Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products
  • Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
  • Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault
