Senior Systems Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our support and projects team. The successful candidate will interact directly with customers and other members of the team to deliver technology-based solutions.


The role involves providing technical support for Citrix environments, including remote support and on-site visits when required. You will also be responsible for participating in an on-call roster for after-hours support and gathering requirements for Citrix and NetScaler projects.


The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies. Experience and background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies is also necessary.


The successful candidate will bring:

  • Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration
  • Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration
  • User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow
  • Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products
  • Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
  • Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault
