Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Senior Citrix Engineer role in our specialist support and projects team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies.
About the Role
- The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting Citrix environments within contracted time frames and service level agreements.
- They will also be involved in requirements gathering and working on Citrix and NetScaler projects for our clients.
- Maintenance, support services within agreed service levels, along with maintaining technical documentation, are also key responsibilities.
- The successful candidate will utilise their expertise in Citrix and Netscalers to scope and work on projects.
- Sharing knowledge and expertise through coaching others in the team is also expected.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration.
- Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration.
- User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow.
- Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management.
- Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
- Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault.
