Senior .Net Developer Position

This role requires a seasoned professional with in-depth technical expertise and proven delivery in complex ICT environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an expert to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • The ideal candidate will integrate automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, functional) into delivery pipelines.
  • A successful applicant will plan and execute blue/green deployments with zero-downtime and rollback capabilities.
  • The senior developer will deliver business-critical .NET applications and APIs optimised for performance and scalability.
  • They will enhance and optimise SQL Server performance including stored procedures and indexing.
  • Responsibilities include working across Windows Server environments including integration with MS Reporting Services 2016 and PingFed.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • The selected candidate will provide technical leadership, driving best practices in modern DevOps and software engineering.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with ASP.NET/MVC and .NET Core in enterprise environments.
  • Proven expertise in Azure DevOps, including build/release pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in blue/green deployments within production environments.
  • Advanced SQL Server skills, including performance tuning, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience in Windows Server environments, MS Reporting Services 2016, and PingFed.
  • Proven delivery in Agile enterprise ICT environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
