About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team at Amazon. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and adoption of AWS services among startups in the APJ region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive top-line revenue and explore strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems.
  • Work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for Amazon Bedrock in Startup APJ, collaborating with teams in the field.

The WWSO Startup team helps customers adopt our newest and most advantageous technologies. We are technology specialists and a team dedicated to helping Startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in LLM, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Gen AI related fields.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
  • Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.
