Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to work in our Weigh Label Room, supporting the processing of raw packaged chicken meat. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting, packing, weighing and labelling products efficiently and effectively.

Fully trained in all aspects of the job, you will also provide support to the production team, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times. Your contribution will play a crucial role in meeting customer expectations and ensuring the highest quality standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and experience with manual handling equipment

Daily Tasks

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, motivated to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Tending labelling lines and label applicators, performing processing tasks efficiently and working to meet individual and group targets
  • Manual handling duties - lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
  • Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
  • Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks
