Operations Manager

As a key player in the waste management industry, we are seeking an exceptional Operations Supervisor to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the sustainability journey of Australia. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a supervisory role, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in managing teams and driving operational efficiency.
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling curbside collection fleets, consulting with line management on operational targets, and ensuring pre-start, post-run, and minor day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment.
You will lead by example, creating a positive work culture and drive operational efficiencies within the team. You will also manage and prepare detailed reports, including toolbox meetings, and lead performance management investigations and outcomes.
About YouWe are looking for someone with a landfill or waste background who possesses:
- An approachable nature with good people skills.
- Experience in transport, waste, logistics, and recycling industries (desirable).
- A knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and ability to work independently.
