Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Packaging Team Manager.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing process and product quality in the packaging department, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment (HSE) and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain GMP/HACCP and GFSI compliance standards.
- Cultivate high-performance teamwork through guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
- Coordinate planned and breakdown maintenance activities with the packaging maintenance team.
- Support new product development, overhauls, and project management.
- Optimize production process for throughput, reliability, and productivity.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, be able to resolve conflicts, lead teams, and build relationships. A tertiary education in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field is ideal.
A relevant experience in packaging or operational manufacturing roles is essential. Additionally, a strong safety and quality mindset, with HSE leadership experience, is required.
