Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in Moonah, Tasmania. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a diverse range of machine operation, manual handling, and processing tasks.

About the Role

- Operate machinery with precision and accuracy
- Execute packaging of products in standard boxes & containers for storage & shipment purposes.
- Maintain a tidy, organised work space to uphold work health and safety compliance
- Conduct quality control checks
- Work Monday - Friday with RDO once a month, 38 hour week on day shift hours.
- Participate in training programs to enhance your skills
- Receive $29.39 per hour casual rate

Key Responsibilities

- Machinery operation: Monitor and operate machines efficiently to meet production targets.
- Packaging: Package products in standard boxes & containers, ensuring accurate labelling and documentation.
- Work Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to WHS guidelines and regulations.
- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements

- Excellent communication skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing
- Ability to pass workplace health assessment
