Job Description

At our luxurious beachfront hotel, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing an array of dishes catering to the restaurant, bar, room service, and banquets.

Your culinary passion and creativity will shine through in your presentation, delivering a fantastic culinary experience for guests while maintaining high standards of hygiene and consistency.

You will support, lead, and develop our Commis Chefs, Cooks, and Stewards with guidance from other kitchen leaders, inspiring passion, enthusiasm, and positivity in the team to drive a highly engaged culture.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Chef, with qualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prepare high-quality food according to standard recipes
  • Be flexible, catering for different menus while ensuring conference guests receive high-quality working meals
  • Work closely with the Front of House team to deliver the guest experience
  • Champion hazard control measures and demonstrate awareness of Crisis Management, HACCP & WH&S policies and procedures
  • Support the team in delivering exceptional guest satisfaction
