The Opportunity

We seek an individual to join our Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) team as a Mission Operation Specialist. Our team operates the DHFCS and supporting communications systems, working alongside Australian Defence Force counterparts within the Defence Strategic Communications Branch based in Canberra.

As part of this role, full training will be provided. To be successful, you will require relevant skills and qualifications.

  • Operate and engineer high-frequency communications links.
  • Provide situational awareness and updates on system and unit status to defence customers.
  • Learn and follow defence doctrine and operating procedures to maintain security.

Additionally, you will need to undergo a vetting process for a Government security clearance (NV2), sponsored by your employer.
