Lead Rehabilitation Team in a Rewarding Role

This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance. As part of our team, you will lead a group of practitioners in delivering rehabilitation services.

The Salvation Army is one of Australia's leading providers of alcohol and other drug services, offering various support programs including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services. We adhere to a modern, evidence-based, and holistic Model of Care.

This full-time role involves collaborating with the leadership team to ensure effective teamwork, participant focus, and consistency in practice. You will also provide support in developing quality practice across residential rehabilitation services through case note audits and reflective practice sessions.

  • Coordinating residential wait lists, including wait list support groups and bed allocation for residential rehabilitation programs in Victoria.
  • Reviewing referrals for residential rehabilitation programs, ensuring risk and prioritization requirements are met, and clients are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Providing support as required to clients on waiting lists for residential rehabilitation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess a minimum diploma-level qualification in Community Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), or a relevant field. Relevant experience in a social service environment, preferably AOD and/or Mental Health, is essential. You must also complete the AOD Skillset and hold a current VIC Drivers Licence and Valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check.
