Job Overview :

The Logistics Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in our delivery and pick-up processes, contributing to our overall operations, service excellence, safety standards, and equipment maintenance. With a focus on efficiency and economy, you will excel in optimising delivery routes and processes. Your dedication to safety and maintenance will be evident as you navigate the roads responsibly, adhere to regulations, and ensure the proper operation and upkeep of our delivery vehicles, whilst promoting a culture of safety, reliability, and service excellence.

Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to transport goods nationwide, including full load distribution and 3PL services.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of freight to prevent damage during transit.
  • Follow the Proof of Delivery (POD) process in Carton Cloud, promptly reporting any issues or delays to facilitate swift resolution and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Plan routes and schedules to optimise delivery times, minimise fuel consumption, and maximise efficiency.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and logistics coordinators to ensure timely pickups and deliveries, and provide updates on delivery status as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and fuel usage, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including weight limits, speed limits, and hours of service regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse personnel, and other stakeholders to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Foster a culture of safety, reliability, and service excellence within the team.

Requirements :

  • Relevant experience as a truck driver and preferably 2 years experience with HC.
  • Strong knowledge of interstate transportation regulations, 3PL services, and safety standards.
  • Excellent driving skills, including the ability to navigate various road and weather conditions safely.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading of cargo as needed.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the job.

Estimated Salary : $85,000 - $110,000 per annum based on location and experience.
