We are seeking a highly skilled Specification Consultant to join our team at AkzoNobel. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for managing activities related to current and potential key accounts, including architects, fabricators, specifiers, and applicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a Culture of Safety: Actively support safety practices and initiatives aligned with AkzoNobel's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) programs.
  • Develop and Implement Specification Plans: Work closely with the business development and specifications manager to develop and implement a dynamic specification plan.
  • Seek Out New Projects: Actively seek out new projects that involve specifying a diverse range of Interpon products.
  • Track and Maintain Data: Track and maintain data on project tracking databases from initial drawings to project completion.
  • Produce Insightful Reports: Take ownership of producing insightful monthly regional specification reports.
  • Maintain and Expand Network: Maintain and expand your network of key contacts within the specification community across the region.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Gain Comprehensive Understanding: Gain a comprehensive understanding of project channel management, covering architects, builders, fabricators, and applicators.
  • Gather Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence and assess opportunities for the Powder Coating business within the region.
  • Craft and Execute Client Strategies: Craft and execute key client strategies for key specification customers.
  • Develop Brand Promotion Strategies: Develop strategies to actively promote the Interpon Powder Coating brand.
  • Nurture Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture valuable customer relationships within the region.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated Experience: Demonstrated experience in successfully engaging with architects and/or specifiers.
  • Understanding of Powder Market: Understanding of Powder market and its associated products.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to technical aspects and their applications.
  • Effective Customer Relationship Management: Effective customer relationship management.
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: A results-oriented mindset.
  • Valid Driver's License: A current driver's license, as the role may involve travel to various locations within the region.
