Executive Recruiter Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in executive search and recruitment, with a strong understanding of the manufacturing, organizational leadership, professional services, and staffing industries.

The Executive Recruiter will be responsible for executing the full life-cycle of direct hire recruiting for top-tier, mid-to-senior-level professional direct hire job orders for a variety of clients. This includes partnering with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs, analyzing hiring needs, determining best recruiting methods, creating and deploying client and role-specific recruiting strategies, and building and maintaining a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses client needs.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and candidates. They will also have a strong knowledge of current sourcing and recruiting trends, best practices, and methodologies, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Develops client accounts and generates new business through candidate and client leads, referrals, and various forms of marketing.
  • Partners with clients to analyze hiring needs, determining best recruiting methods, and creates and deploys client and role-specific strategic recruiting strategies and client marketing initiatives.
  • Stays abreast of leading industry trends and recruiting best practices.
  • Builds and maintains subject matter expertise on target industries, clients, and roles.
  • Administers job postings in various systems.
  • Screens resumes and conducts behavioral-based interviews and competency-based evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business development of new clients and recruiting top-tier, mid-to-senior-level candidates or relevant industry experience is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of sales/business development experience.
  • Combination of post-high school education and related professional work experience equivalent to seven (7) years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experienced generating new business.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
