We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our Fixed Income team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building out the Fixed Income and Currencies Corporate business in Australia, working closely with the Global Markets division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the FIC Corporate flow business with Australian Corporates and develop business opportunities
  • Originate business opportunities with existing and new clients and provide advisory on risk management and deal pipelines
  • Develop strong pricing and execution abilities in FX and Interest rates derivatives, as well as structured investment solutions
  • Prepare pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials
  • Drive sales initiatives and maintain awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or master's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or Engineering
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with Australian Corporate clients
  • Strong technical knowledge on Fixed Income and Currencies products
  • Good knowledge on the usage of dealing platforms for credit FX and FIS
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Power Point and Excel
