Job Title: Vice President Fixed Income

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President Fixed Income to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow the Fixed Income and Currencies Corporate flow business with Australian Corporates and develop business opportunities (both public and private deals)
  • Originate business opportunities with existing and new clients and provide advisory on risk management and building deal pipelines in collaboration with the Global Markets teams
  • Prepare pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials
  • Drive sales initiatives and maintain awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings
  • Work in close partnership with the broader FIC desk in Sydney in building out the franchise
  • Maintain strong connectivity with the market, understanding the needs of the different corporate clients and industry groups
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with the Australian Corporate clients
  • Strong technical knowledge on Fixed Income and Currencies products
  • Good knowledge on the usage of dealing platforms for credit FX and FI
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Power Point and Excel
