Job Summary


This is a temporary customer service representative role based in Port Lincoln, working for a SA Government client. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing friendly, accurate and timely customer services, including taking ownership of customer issues and seeing them through to completion.


About the Role


This is a temporary assignment that requires the ability to work up to full-time hours as required. The successful candidate must also be available to commit to 6 weeks full-time training upon commencement of the role. A valid National Police Clearance and DCSI Child Related Clearance are also mandatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and face-to-face interactions
  • Respond to customer enquiries with urgency and professionalism
  • Process complex transactions in an accurate and timely manner
  • Learn and work within new systems to ensure transactions and applications are recorded and processed correctly
  • Provide customers with relevant information or direction as needed within government-based frameworks and policies
  • Ability to quickly and accurately record and process transactions and applications while via phone or in person
  • Represent the company in a corporate and professional manner
  • Being able to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure work undertaken meets work quality and service delivery standards and/or compliance with regulations, codes, and specifications

Skills and Qualifications



  • Proven experience in a fast-paced face-to-face customer service role
  • Proven administration skills and abilities
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining high accuracy with transactions
  • Demonstrated ability for fast learning and long-term retention of information
  • Ability and willingness to work both in a team as well as autonomously
