Role Overview

We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support strategic sourcing functions across diverse categories. This role offers opportunities to develop and implement sourcing, category management, and supply chain strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and execute category plans, strategies, and frameworks to meet client needs and expectations
  • Present sourcing project outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Develop optimal sourcing strategies achieving consistent, quality outcomes across various clients
  • Conduct negotiations on critical, complex supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations
  • Manage key contracts and their administration while ensuring optimal vendor delivery
  • Identify and evaluate new market trends and opportunities to deliver strategic procurement decisions
  • Provide advice to stakeholders and clients on all aspects of procurement category strategy
Requirements
  • Tertiary education in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related fields
  • 3-5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation
  • Work experience with exposure to IFM principles and/or experience will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Experience in financial modeling, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership analysis
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Sound proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
