About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Operations Manager, SE Region to join our thriving SE Region projects team has arisen. You will contribute to designing and strategizing the operational HR plan and identify actions to support business objectives.
Working closely with the local leadership team, you will provide HR strategic context and understanding of specific business plan requirements. Engage with functional specialists to facilitate successful business outcomes through proactive information transfer and enabling relationships with the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Exhibiting hands-on experience in a related human resources management/Senior business partner role operating as an effective HR professional and being viewed as a credible, trusted advisor and leader of people.
- Providing innovative solutions and leading change to promote value-added growth; having a sound understanding of contemporary HR management and workplace relations.
- Demonstrating integrity in all interactions, leading by example and confronting behavior at odds with company values.
- Taking accountability for own actions and actions of the wider HR team, addressing commitments with decisiveness, responsibility, and appropriate efficiency and reliability.
- Having an ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and colleagues to support delivery and create business value.
- Building and maintaining a wide knowledge and understanding of the business environment and strategies, translating these into specific HR tactics and actions.
- Demonstrating a working knowledge and ability to interpret legislation and other technical information, providing credible advice.
- Demonstrating experience with conducting detailed investigative or audit work to support business culture and outcomes.
About You:
A bachelor of human resources and/or business degree or equivalent experience is required. At least 8 years' experience in similar roles in the engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors is also required.
Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential. A strong working knowledge of industrial relations/labor law, HR processes, and systems is also required.
