Senior HR Advisor

The People Division, led by the Chief People Officer (CPO), is responsible for providing human resources functions to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.

The key duties of this position include delivering high-quality HR services in a fast-paced work environment. This role manages moderately complex HR matters and provides technical advice that is consistent, accurate and timely.

This role contributes to the management and delivery of HR projects, programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will identify and contribute to strategic opportunities to enhance and innovate the department's HR services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality HR services
• Manage moderately complex HR matters
• Provide technical advice

Requirements:

  • Proven experience providing advice and support in human resources
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the APS employment environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
