About the Role

As a key member of the Transaction Banking Solutions team at Commonwealth Bank, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction and effective running of the end-to-end value chain of the business. This includes leading and building the NBFI Account Management Team to deliver client-centric working capital and cash solutions across IB&M's transaction banking product/capability suite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and build the NBFI Account Management Team to deliver client-centric working capital and cash solutions across IB&M's transaction banking product/capability suite.
  • Identify and develop strategic opportunities and team business plans for achieving IB&M and client goals and objectives.
  • Drive the effective and efficient delivery of performance outcomes for the team (Revenue, Risk, NPAT, and Profit after Capital Charge) in accordance to plan, CBA values and risk framework.
  • Support the development and continual improvement of people, process and structures to build a sustainable and adaptive franchise.
  • Understand and develop strategic, long-term stakeholder relationships and influence and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and market changes to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in transaction banking in the NBFI sector.
  • Self-starter with results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and negotiation skills and ability to build a strong rapport with clients and work colleagues.
  • Deep knowledge of transaction banking products and services including payments, cash management and merchant solutions, with an understanding of the needs of NBFI customers.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business administration, information technology or a related field (or experience to reflect the same).
