About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our Transaction Banking Solutions team at the Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and effective running of the end-to-end value chain of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and build the NBFI Account Management Team to deliver client-centric working capital and cash solutions across IB&M's transaction banking product/capability suite.
  2. Identify and develop strategic opportunities and team business plans for achieving IB&M and client goals and objectives.
  3. Drive the effective and efficient delivery of performance outcomes for the team (Revenue, Risk, NPAT, and Profit after Capital Charge) in accordance to plan, CBA values and risk framework.
  4. Support the development and continual improvement of people, process and structures to build a sustainable and adaptive franchise.
  5. Understand and develop strategic, long-term stakeholder relationships and influence and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in transaction banking in the NBFI sector.
  • Self-starter with results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and negotiation skills and ability to build a strong rapport with clients and work colleagues.
  • Deep knowledge of transaction banking products and services including payments, cash management and merchant solutions, with an understanding of the needs of NBFI customers.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business administration, information technology or a related field (or experience to reflect the same).
