About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security professional to fill our Lead Security Analyst position. This role involves providing strategic guidance on security matters and collaborating with technical teams to enhance and align our SOC services with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage leadership skills to drive growth and development within the SOC team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend advanced security tools and technologies to strengthen our SOC capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with customer needs.
  • Work closely with platform support engineers and the SOC Solution Lead to develop and implement the SOC Roadmap, fostering effective collaboration and driving business outcomes.
  • Sustain a growth mindset within the SOC Analyst team, adopting mature ways of working to establish improvements across the SOC services, including Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting.
  • Owning the SIEM and associated improvement activities, ensuring that SOC operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine SOC processes and procedures to boost efficiency and effectiveness, working in tandem with the Service Management team to identify opportunities for process enhancement and governance.
  • Enhance the Knowledgebase with the SOC Analysts, refining Playbooks and Use cases to optimize security responses.
  • Develop and execute strategies to mitigate identified risks and fortify the overall security posture for the SOC and our clients.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on security incidents, trends, and the overall security posture to SOC management and clients during operational monthly meetings.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and recommendations on security matters.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and attack techniques to inform the SOC's defensive strategies.
