Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a pioneering state-wide dementia care program, driving research, education, and clinical innovation. As a senior clinician, you will provide expert consultancy, leadership, education, research, and service development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical consultancy across the organization.

  • Lead and supervise clinical nurse consultants and nursing workforce.

  • Drive clinical leadership and collaborative projects.

  • Apply research to enhance practice and innovation.

  • Plan and deliver specialized education and training.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate qualification related to the specific area of specialty.

  • Registration as a registered nurse with current authority to practice.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and sound clinical judgment.

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in delivering education and training, with a sound understanding of evidence-based practice and a commitment to person- and relationship-centered care.

  • Demonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and advocacy.

  • Experience in conducting or contributing to research, clinical audits, and/or clinical practice improvement projects.
