EL 1 Contract Manager Role Overview:
The EL 1 Contract Manager plays a crucial role within the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA) in managing and leading complex to very complex contract management activities. This includes performing tasks under broad direction, exercising independence, and providing expert policy advice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Developing strategies and evaluating business outcomes.
- Leading and undertaking procurement planning, tendering, and contract formation and contract management activities while ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
- Implementing mitigation strategies for risks associated with contract management activities and suppliers' performance and compliance with mandatory requirements.
- Interpreting and providing advice on complex procurement and contract management issues.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known as the Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This premium provides recognition for positions critical to Defence capability.
About our Team:Enterprise Technology Operations Branch (ETOB) delivers quality ICT services to Defence in support of military operations and corporate business. Our team focuses on delivering sustainable service levels and maintaining an effective ICT capability for our customers.
