Role Overview

This position involves managing billing activities, maintaining records, and providing support to internal stakeholders on billing-related matters.

You will be responsible for generating and reviewing client invoices, liaising with attorneys and legal assistants, and ensuring compliance with client guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and review client invoices with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Liaise with attorneys and legal assistants to gather billing information and resolve discrepancies;
  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and legal regulations;
  • Monitor billing processes and identify opportunities for process improvements;
  • Assist in month-end and year-end billing reconciliations;
  • Provide support and guidance to internal teams on billing-related queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in billing, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment;
  • Experience in Aderant Expert is essential;
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other billing tools;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively;
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving ability.
