Financial Operations Specialist Role

Job Description:

A Financial Operations Specialist is required to manage the credit control process and support payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial transactions, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of all financial activities, ensuring timely payments, and addressing any billing discrepancies. Additionally, they will collaborate with the finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage outstanding invoices and customer accounts.
  • Contact clients to follow up on overdue payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the sales and recruitment teams to address financial issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial activities.
  • Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate and issue invoices for permanent placements, verifying accuracy and confirming billing information.
  • Prepare financial reports related to credit control, payroll, and invoicing as needed.
  • Assist in preparing financial documents for audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in financial operations or credit control.
  • Payroll processing and invoicing experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., xero, astute & Microsoft Excel).
