Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Controls Project Manager to lead our construction projects in Australia.

This role involves providing overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support to medium-sized construction projects. It also requires developing and implementing project safety plans, ensuring projects are constructed as per design, budget, resources, quality, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract administration and management of medium-sized construction projects.
  • Developing and implementing project safety plans to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Providing regular status reports on safety, cost forecasts, and schedules.
  • Negotiating and issuing subcontracts, major purchase orders, and progress payments.
  • Managing project performance and identifying and mitigating risks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing a strong safety culture through application of health, safety, and environment principles and legislation.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry, including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, construction law and building codes.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
