Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead civil and electrical related activities in Maryvale.

This includes planning, organising and providing hands-on assistance and technical support for field activities. The role will support long-term asset management objectives, ensuring the ongoing integrity of operational activities and ensuring the construction and delivery of projects are cost-effective and efficient.

The successful candidate will have previous experience leading testing & commissioning activities, managing and resolving defects, outages, identifying, eliminating and mitigating risks to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a construction program to assist with the effective delivery of a project
  • SUPERVISE AND LEAD WORK GROUPS OF UP TO 15 PEOPLE OR MORE
  • DELIVER PROJECTS SAFELY, ON TIME, AND ON BUDGET
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or equivalent
  • Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence essential
  • C Class Manual Driver's Licence essential
  • 10+ years experience in substation construction in the electrical HV industry
