About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team as a Chief Financial Accountant - Reporting and Compliance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Month End Close: Manage the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely monthly reporting for the consolidated Group, including assistance with the preparation of the Group consolidation, taxation, cash flows, and elimination entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation and review of statutory interim and annual reporting, including ASX requirements for the Group (and subsidiaries) and associated reporting and analysis for investor relations.
  • Liaison with External Auditors: Develop key working relationships to ensure efficient and timely audit processes.
  • ARCC and Board Finance Papers: Manage the drafting of ARCC and Board papers, supporting packs, and presentations to a high standard, demonstrating superior writing skills.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis and Calculations: Provide ad hoc analysis to meet business needs and external reporting requirements, acting as a subject matter expert for accounting-related queries.
About You

The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA certified with experience in Chartered Accountancy or the commercial sector. High attention to detail, proficiency in navigating numerous systems, advanced Excel skills, and comprehensive knowledge of Australian accounting standards, IFRS, and statutory obligations are essential.

What We Offer
