Overview


A prominent financial services firm in Sydney's CBD seeks a skilled Chief Financial Reporting Specialist to cover management and financial reporting for an initial 12-month contract.


This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and involve working across various financial, management accounts, and related tax returns. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and delivering exceptional financial management, analysis, and reporting within tight deadlines.


About You


We are looking for an experienced professional with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, as well as excellent business and IT acumen. A degree and postgraduate qualification in finance or accounting, along with experience in financial reporting practices and tax compliance matters, is essential.


Key Responsibilities



  • The full suite of financial and management accounts for multiple Asia Pacific entities must be managed and prepared.

Your Qualifications



  • Degree and postgraduate qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) in finance or accounting.
  • At least three years of experience in financial reporting practices and tax compliance matters.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Financial markets accounting experience is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, resource management, and communication skills are necessary.
  • Able to manage projects or initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

What We Offer
