Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating the legal aspects of transaction documentation, coordinating transactions through to execution for new business, and advising on a portfolio of existing deals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and negotiate legal documents related to transactions
  • Coordinate transactions from initiation to completion
  • Provide legal advice on existing deals
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong working knowledge of APLMA/LMA/LSTA leveraged and investment grade documents
  • Experience in debt capital markets, structured finance, and securitisation
  • Solid understanding of corporate debt restructuring, distressed/special situations, and/or enforcement processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
