About the Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer to coordinate on-site construction activities and contribute to project objectives.

Reporting into a senior engineer, you will oversee engineering tasks to achieve timely delivery from a cost and time perspective.

This is a long-term opportunity with a potential transfer to another project afterwards.

Responsibilities of the Role Include:
  • Collaborating with engineers and supervisors to deliver program requirements efficiently
  • Significant input in managing project quality systems, including inspections, documentation, and record keeping
  • Planning and programming tasks
  • Assisting with procurement and supplier management
  • E nsuring compliance with technical specifications, legislation, approvals, and standards while focusing on risk management
To Be Successful in This Key Role, You Must Have:
  • Experience working on major civil infrastructure projects
  • Degree-qualified civil engineer with at least three years' experience after graduation
  • Understanding of contemporary construction practices on civil projects
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders
  • A team player capable of delivering results under tight deadlines

  • 8 bridges, including a 2.6km viaduct over the Hunter River
  • Over 1.3 million cubic meters of earthworks
  • New interchanges at Black Hill, Tarro, and Tomago
About the Project Location:

The project site is situated near Newcastle CBD, approximately 30 minutes away by car.
