The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and demonstrated competence in civil engineering and project management within a consultancy.

Key responsibilities include managing projects with design, specification, and reporting aspects, providing technical direction and oversight, establishing professional engineering standards and procedures, consulting and recommending solutions, conducting site-based inspections, and applying appropriate safety and environmental protocols.

  • Lead projects including design, specification, and reporting.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and management for engineering and design projects.
  • Demonstrate sound judgement and technically accurate and feasible engineering solutions.
  • Establish industry-standard engineering practices and procedures.
  • Offer consultation, recommendation, and advice in specialty engineering areas.
  • Conduct site-based inspections, engineering, and commission services for internal and external projects.
  • Apply relevant standards and methods to minimize health, safety, and environmental risks.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia).
  • Proven competence in civil engineering and project management within a consultancy.
  • Experience working on residential, commercial, and land development projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to compile detailed and accurate reports.
  • Proven experience providing consultation across multiple engineering disciplines.
