Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
  • Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones
  • Utilize problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants
  • Work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
  • Present case information to various stakeholders and provide credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal
Requirements
  • Friendly and professional psychologist with a strong commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (provisional registration considered)
  • Some experience in providing short-term, solution-focused psychological interventions across 6-10 session formats, with medium-term work available
  • Drivers' license and reliable car
