About the Role

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant - Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.

  • Develop personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
  • Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return-to-work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
  • Work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
  • Present case information to various stakeholders and provide credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal.
Requirements
  • A friendly and professional psychologist who seeks to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (provisional registration considered).
  • Some experience in providing short-term, solution-focused psychological interventions across 6-10 session formats, with medium-term work available.
  • A driver's license and reliable car.
