Lead Solution Architect Opportunity

This role entails leading the architectural strategy for payments systems in a Big 4 Bank. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth expertise in payment architectures, transactions, and system integrations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the strategic approach for payments-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and oversee complex system integrations to facilitate seamless transactions across multiple platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and governance, promoting best practices in architecture and software development.
  • Foster collaboration with senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • Evaluate risks and architectural challenges within high-availability and high-security environments.
  • Maintain hands-on involvement with technology, guiding engineering teams in implementing scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Solution Architect in banking or financial services, preferably with expertise in real-time payments, batch processing, APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies.
  • A strong background in transactional systems, including extensive knowledge of security, compliance, and resilience principles.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
