We are seeking an experienced Solution Developer to lead the design and implementation of innovative payment systems.

About the Role:

As a highly skilled professional, you will be responsible for defining technical architectures, guiding system evolution, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and scheme certifications.

  • Define and maintain target state architecture and roadmaps for payment solutions.
  • Lead solution development for card issuing, acquiring, switching, and merchant services.
  • Provide technical leadership across real-time payments, e-commerce, and omni-channel initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in solution development within payments and banking, as well as expertise in ISO 8583, ISO 20022, AS2805, and SWIFT protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and integrate vendor solutions with scheme and security compliance.
  • Architect event-driven, microservices, and cloud-native solutions (Azure/AWS).
  • Ensure performance, scalability, security, and supportability of solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to governance and best practices.

This is a 6-month contract role based in Melbourne, commencing as soon as available.
