Support Student Wellbeing

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to support student wellbeing needs at Numurkah Secondary College.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document wellbeing processes and policies for the school
  • Respond to wellbeing referrals and allocate them amongst the wellbeing team
  • Identify, assess, guide and provide individual counselling for students at educational or personal risk
  • Coordinate small group programs to support wellbeing education and development of students
  • Conduct observations and assessments of student social and emotional needs, and provide reports in support of Disability Inclusion Profiles
Requirements:
  • Experience and qualification in social work or other relevant field with individual counselling of teenagers
  • Capacity to support health promotion program in a school environment
  • Commitment to the College vision and values, initiatives and high levels of personal energy and drive
