Job Description

As a Senior News Reporter, you will be responsible for researching, compiling, and producing high-quality news stories for our weekday news bulletins. You will work closely with editors and camera operators to ensure our bulletins meet deadlines and maintain the highest standards.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 AUD, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A university qualification in journalism with at least one year of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to compile a ratings-winning bulletin
  • Knowledge of local, national, and international news stories affecting the community
  • Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of media law
